NEWS:
The Halo Trees goes Electro đ
We have spent a lot of time in the studio with The Halo Trees over the last few months working on an electronica album. It will be called „Electric Mirror“ and will be released on November 22nd via COP International. It contains new versions of well-known The Halo Trees songs, all of which we have rearranged ourselves. I have re-recorded all of the vocals and will be supported on the microphone by a few guests who we will announce soon. An exciting adventure that will hopefully culminate in our tour at the end of November as the support act for Front Line Assembly, because that is where we will present the electronica versions live.
The first single „Alone In A Room Full Of Mirrors“ was released today. A song that was only available in the original rock version as a bonus track on the first album „Antennas To The Sky“. The new version is a super atmospheric track between ambient and electronica – spherical, wide, timeless and weightless. Very different from anything we’ve done before, but we love this version. However, this is just one – quite quiet – facet of our electronica sound.
Available as a free download via Bandcamp and the usual streaming providers.
P.S.: We are also working on a new rock album, so don’t worry

With âWhere The Deep Endsâ The Halo Trees present a rather quiet album that showcases the darker, melancholic side of the band with deep male vocals, electronic elements, tragic violins and the deep post-punkish rock instrumentation. In the book, that comes with the album, singer Sascha Blach presents images, short stories, philosophical texts, poems, and commentaries that expand on the ten songs of the album âWhere The Deep Endsâ in various ways.
